McGrath Civils were instructed by a retired husband-wife couple in Bedford to demolish their large 1960's detached property and help create the luxury residential property they had always dreamed of.
After the large scale demolition had been successfully completed, we removed the waste material from the site to prepare for the basement excavation. We laid suitable foundations and built the large concrete basement, on-time and on budget thereby ensuring no hold up, ready for the main build of the their new luxury home.

This project ran smoothly from start to finish, from the demo of the old house and recycling of all the old materials to the construction of the basement, which was made all the easier due to having lots of on-site space to move around the heavy plant.
The only slight challenge was the very high water table in the local area, which meant using lots of pumping power during the basement excavation.
This was a great project to have worked on and the architect, PM and client were all delighted with the finish.
