McGrath Civils Ltd was founded by Sean McGrath and has grown into a trusted specialist contractor delivering commercial, residential and infrastructure projects across London and the South East.
Today we work with developers, architects, local authorities, principal contractors, commercial and private clients, providing expertise across groundworks, reinforced concrete structures, basement construction, enabling works and sea defence projects.
With over 30 years of experience, we hold Constructionline Gold, SSIP and Acclaim accreditations and work on projects ranging in size from £100k to £5m.

Sean McGrath
Managing Director
With more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering, groundworks and reinforced concrete construction, Sean McGrath has built a reputation for delivering complex projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Throughout his career, Sean has worked across a diverse range of sectors including rail infrastructure, sea and coastal defence, reinforced concrete structures, commercial developments and major civil engineering schemes both in the UK and internationally.
Known for his proactive approach and commitment to quality, Sean has successfully overseen the delivery of numerous civil engineering and groundworks projects, earning the trust of developers, principal contractors, local authorities and private clients throughout London and the South East.
