McGrath Civils are currently sub-contracted to work on the coastal defence scheme at Brighton Marina, by Herboush-Kiere.
Instructed in May 2019, we have been tasked with reinforcing the caisson walls as part of a major sea defence contract.
This project is currently ongoing and expected to be complete in 2020.

The coastal defence project at Brighton Marina is a major sea defence project which we are delighted to be involved with.
The conditions on the south coast are notoriously challenging, with high winds whipping off The Channel, this is playing a huge part in this project.
Only having one access road to bring materials on and off the wall means every aspect of the job needs to be planned carefully.
The caisson is 12m deep with limited access so our expert workforce are required to work in incredibly confined space.
The project is ongoing and will be complete in 2020.
