Groundworks in High Wycombe
It’s been a hectic few months at McGrath Civils, with a few basement projects
coming to an end in Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Surrey. The Autumn has been no different, with several projects just now ready to kick-off.
We were over on a new site in Penn in High Wycombe last week, where we’re involved with all of the groundworks and ICF works for a new customer. The demo lads have done a good job so we’re now ready to start with some drainage.

We've been down on the South Coast, helping a landscaping firm with groundworks and concrete retaining walls at a new development.
The start of Autumn marks another new groundworks project at McGrath Civils. We're helping a property developer who is building 4 new residential houses on a site in Woking, in North-West Surrey. The project is due to be starting this week, on the 6th November 2023. We have been brought into clear the site, do all of the groundworks and the foundations for each of the 4 properties. We're looking forward to getting stuck into this one. As the project progresses, we'll post updates here on our website. The team over in Cambridge have made a great job installing the insulation on our basement in Cambridge.
Our team have been working on building the substructure of a new basement for a large and luxury property on the Wentworth Estate in Surrey.
We have finished another basement project in the Surrey Hills, in 2023.
We have been up in Cambridge, starting another new basement project, this time for a private client who is building a new 4-bed property. The basement will be 160m2.
McGrath Civils build basements in Hastings and across East Sussex. Our basement team have years of experience in constructing waterproof basements.
Our basement team are busy pouring the second half of the concrete slab, at our Virginia Water basement project.
