What is Piling? 

Piling is a type of deep foundation that provides essential support and is used to transfer the load to a deeper level than is possible with a traditional shallow foundation. With certain grounds that are unstable, vertical columns, usually concrete or steal, are driven into the ground in to give extra support to the new building structure that will sit on top.
